My name is Heather, and I’m the owner of Frozen Pixels Design. I like to design, whether it be messing around with Photoshop or designing a logo, I just enjoy it. With web design, I like to play with the code to get things ‘just right’. And with print, I enjoy holding the final product. Something tangible that I have created.
In 2010, I started the Multimedia Communications course at Yukon College. I graduated with honors in 2012.
I also have a full time job at a local print shop. I started at the company running the digital copier. I worked with a Xerox 800 Colour Press. I printed everything from business cards & posters, to books & brochures. In 2014, I was bumped up to Graphic Designer. I have experience designing jobs from business cards to large outdoor signage. I can set up jobs for press, di-cutting, large format, variable data and much more.
I really enjoy my day job. I believe it gives me an inside edge knowing the final production stages of a clients product. It has been a great addition to the courses I have already taken.
